Fiddle Workshop with Jane Rothfield

Jane Rothfield is an award winning fiddler and tune composer based in the Philadelphia area. She has been performing, recording and teaching for over 30+ years, with a focus on Appalachian old time fiddle music. In her workshop she will teach 1-2 tunes, with an emphasis on learning by ear, old time bowing, and basic fiddle techniques, and above all, having fun! Kids Workshop with Phil Banaszak

Phil is a New York State Hall of Fame fiddler who teaches students from age 4 to 85 years old at the Community Music School in Buffalo. Phil performs with his band City Fiddle for dances, concerts and living history events across New York State. He has produced one CD of his original tunes and is working on a second recording.
